Guests can take advantage of a new “Diamond in the Desert” 75th Anniversary Package, starting at $214 which includes two nights in a casita-style guest room, a $75 per day resort credit, two 75th Anniversary Signature Cocktails at RBar,
The Spa at Camelback Inn has unveiled a new Anniversary Signature Treatment – a Deluxe Bindi Herbal Face and Body Treatment (75 minutes, $195).
Using a blend of herbs and oils from India, this Ayurvedic treatment brings the body into balance by providing nourishment to the skin, relaxation and peace to the mind and soul. The treatment begins with a gently exfoliation of the skin and an application of warm oil, which helps to improve circulation and relaxation. An exfoliating facial utilizing specially blended oils, followed by the application of heated herbal sheets to the body complete this stress-reducing treatment.
Additionally, a 60-minute Swedish Massage will be offered for just $75* (normally $135) from December 15, 2011 – March 15, 2012.
The spa will retail an 18-ounce ounce bottle of the popular Camelback Signature Aromatherapy Lotion for $19.36, to coincide with the year the resort was founded. (The lotion normally retails for $26.50.) *not to be combined with any other offer and this is based upon availability
Chef Marc Hennessy of BLT Steak Scottsdale has created a $75 prix-fixe dinner that will be offered throughout the month of December and for a limited time through 2012. The menu will feature Onion Soup with Comte St Antoine Gratinee and Garlic Crouton; Dover Sole Meuniere with Bacon Wrapped Asparagus and Perigord Truffle; and Caramel Apple Pie with Cranberry Ice Cream and Toasted Walnuts. The largest restaurant in the BLT Steak portfolio, the restaurant features seating for 200 guests, as well as two private dining rooms and an outside courtyard area.
Camelback Inn’s Director of Beverage Trudy Thomas, a noted expert and author, has created a Diamond Fizz Cocktail to commemorate the anniversary––made with Moet & Chandon Imperial Ice, Grand Marnier, Yuzu and an edible diamond garnish; available at both RBar and Rita’s Kitchen..
Golf lovers can take advantage of a special anniversary greens rate of $75 at The Camelback Golf Club’s recently refurbished Padre course from December 15 - 21 (subject to availability). The course re-opened in October following an extensive renovation and re-sprigging of the 18 greens.
